Job summary

VGAI Solutions is seeking an experienced TeamSite CMS Architect to lead the architecture, development, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise web content management solutions using OpenText TeamSite. You will drive technical decisions, ensure governance, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable CMS platforms.

Applicants should possess 8+ years in Web Content Management, deep hands-on TeamSite experience, OpenDeploy expertise, API integrations (REST/SOAP), and a track record

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Web Content Management / CMS
• Hands-on OpenText TeamSite and Web CMS
• Experience designing enterprise TeamSite architectures
• Knowledge of TeamSite Forms, Templates, Data Types, Workflows, and Components
• Experience with OpenDeploy and content deployment
• Developing and integrating REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with OpenText TeamSite Content Server
• Understanding of CMS architecture, content modeling, and governance
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting
• Knowledge of Angular/React is a plus
• Strong understanding of enterprise web app architecture and integration patterns

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of OpenText TeamSite CMS solutions.
• Design scalable CMS architecture based on requirements.
• Develop and customize TeamSite templates, components, workflows, and content types.
• Design and implement content authoring and publishing workflows.
• Manage content deployment using OpenDeploy and related technologies.
• Integrate TeamSite with enterprise applications, APIs, and downstream systems.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Review and optimize existing CMS architecture and processes.
• Troubleshoot complex CMS, deployment, and workflow issues.
• Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and infra teams.
• Support releases, deployments, and technical documentation.
• Participate in architecture reviews and propose solutions for complex requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Web Content Management / CMS
• Strong hands‑on experience with OpenText TeamSite / OpenText Web CMS
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise TeamSite CMS architecture
• Strong knowledge of TeamSite Forms, Templates, Data Types, Workflows, and Components
• Experience with TeamSite OpenDeploy and content deployment

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Review existing CMS architecture and recommend improvements, modernization, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex application, content management, workflow, and deployment issues.
• Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Support application releases, production deployments, and technical documentation.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical solutions for complex requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenText TeamSite modernization or migration projects
• Experience with TeamSite REST APIs
• Experience with enterprise-scale CMS implementations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
