Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking team-oriented drivers for a regional/transcontinental fleet. The role emphasizes safe operation, strict adherence to FMCSA rules, and detailed records.

Expect diversified routes within a 100% drop-and-hook operation with strong support and advancement opportunities. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to pass medical and road tests.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required; HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• Reside within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must lift approx. 70 lbs. and operate various terrains and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required records.
• Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and report maintenance needs.
• May drive different schedules and work the dock as needed by business needs.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and protect cargo integrity.
• Maintain valid MVR and report discrepancies to supervision.
