Job summary

Estes Express, a leading LTL freight carrier, seeks drivers capable of operating various equipment with emphasis on safety and FMCSA compliance. The role involves delivering freight across service centers within the Estes network, with strong home time expectations and opportunities for advancement.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and a clean MVR. Candidates should be within 75 miles of a Service Center and able to meet all FMCSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record.
• 21 years of age minimum per FMCSA regulations and knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV may apply).
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domicile Service Center or work assignment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with company, FMCSA and state regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure safe working conditions.
• Maintain records as required by local, state and federal regulations.
• Adhere to FMCSA rules, including drug and alcohol testing requirements; use electronic logs if applicable.
• Provide professional service to customers and maintain security of equipment and cargo.
• Adapt to different schedules and docking duties based on business needs.
