Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Saint Augustine, FL is hiring a Team Member to deliver an outstanding guest experience and support club operations.

You'll greet members, assist with memberships, tours, and front desk tasks, and help ensure the space stays sparkling clean. The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to work varied hours (including weekends) and a friendly, team-oriented attitude. This is a part-time, on-site position with growth opportunities in a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for every member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and tours.
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing daily cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean space.
• Support front desk operations with memberships, retail sales, check-ins, and phone inquiries.
• Resolve member questions related to accounts and services, with leadership support when needed.
• Prepare and serve smoothies where applicable.
• Support Kids Club standards and operations to ensure exceptional service for families.

Your New Role

Pay Range: $14.25 - $17.79 / hour; based on experience.

Hours: Opening availability (5:15 am).

Responsibilities

As a Team Member at Chuze, you’ll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences for our current and future members. Your days will be a dynamic blend of warm greetings, epic high fives, mastering the art of phone etiquette, guiding new members through sign-ups and tours, and, of course, ensuring our space sparkles with cleanliness.

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks to maintain an exceptionally clean and inviting space for members
• Support front desk operations by assisting with memberships, retail sales, member check-ins, and phone inquiries
• Resolve member questions related to accounts, billing, and club services, partnering with leadership when additional support is needed
• Prepare and serve smoothies (at clubs with Chuze Blends)
• Support a seamless member experience by upholding Kids Club standards and assisting with Kids Club operations as needed, fostering collaboration and ensuring exceptional service for families

Requirements

Your Skills

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person
• Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed

Preferences

• Previous customer service experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Bilingual

Physical Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
