Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Fresno, CA is hiring a Team Member to greet guests, assist with sign-ups, tours, and maintaining a sparkling club environment. You’ll handle front desk duties, memberships, and basic inquiries while providing friendly service to members and guests.

The role supports Kids Club operations and may include serving smoothies where available; open availability preferred, including weekends. High school diploma or equivalent and strong customer service are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks to maintain an exceptionally clean and inviting space for members
• Support front desk operations by assisting with memberships, retail sales, member check-ins, and phone inquiries
• Resolve member questions related to accounts, billing, and club services, partnering with leadership when additional support is needed
• Prepare and serve smoothies (at clubs with Chuze Blends)
• Support a seamless member experience by upholding Kids Club standards and assisting with Kids Club operations as needed, fostering collaboration and ensuring exceptional service for families

Your New Role

Pay Range: $17.15 - $18.46 / hour; based on experience.

Hours: Open availability preferred.

As a Team Member at Chuze, you’ll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences for our current and future members. Your days will be a dynamic blend of warm greetings, epic high fives, mastering the art of phone etiquette, guiding new members through sign-ups and tours, and, of course, ensuring our space sparkles with cleanliness.

Requirements

Preferences

• Previous customer service experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Bilingual

Physical Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
