Job summary

Chuze Fitness is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to enhance member experiences at our clubs. You will assist with memberships, tours, and program information while keeping spaces clean and welcoming.

A background in customer service and leadership helps you contribute to a positive guest experience. The role is full-time, on-site, and requires availability for varied hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service.
• Experience running shifts or leading a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-based mindset with the ability to receive and deliver feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for members by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and club tours.
• Maintain an exceptionally clean and inviting space by coordinating daily cleaning tasks.
• Support front desk operations with memberships, retail, member check-ins, and phone inquiries.
• Resolve member questions related to accounts, billing, and club services with leadership support.
• Prepare and serve smoothies where applicable.
• Support operations, policies, and training standards among the team.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and administrative tasks.
• Support Kids Club operations as needed to ensure exceptional service for families.

Your New Role

Pay Range: $19.50 - $21.73 / hour; based on experience.

Responsibilities

Hours:

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks to maintain an exceptionally clean and inviting space for members
• Support front desk operations by assisting with memberships, retail sales, member check-ins, and phone inquiries
• Resolve member questions related to accounts, billing, and club services, partnering with leadership when additional support is needed
• Prepare and serve smoothies (at clubs with Chuze Blends)
• Support fellow Chuzers on operational best practices, policies, and training standards
• Help keep the club running smoothly by supporting daily operations, opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and administrative responsibilities
• Support a seamless member experience by upholding Kids Club standards and assisting with Kids Club operations as needed, fostering collaboration and ensuring exceptional service for families

Requirements

Your Skills:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in customer service
• Previous experience running shifts or leading a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed

Preferences

• Bilingual

Physical Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
