Chuze Fitness is seeking a full-time front desk associate at our Sacramento, CA club. You will greet members, explain memberships and programs, manage check-ins, and support daily operations to keep the club inviting and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, and amenities.

• Assist with memberships, retail sales, member check-ins, phone inquiries, and service smoothies where applicable.
• Escalate member concerns and facilities issues and partner with leadership on solutions.
• Coach and support fellow team members on policies and training standards.
• Support daily operations, opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and admin tasks.
• Assist with Kids Club as needed and promote cross-team communication.

• Pay or shift range: $21.73 USD to $24.37 USD. Our compensation philosophy is founded on principles of equitable recognition for hard work. Your New Role

Pay Range: $21.73 - $24.37 / hour; based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks to maintain an exceptionally clean and inviting space for members
• Maintain front desk operations by assisting with memberships and executing retail sales, member check-ins, phone inquiries, and serving smoothies (at clubs with Chuze Blends)
• Escalate elevated member concerns and emergent facilities issues, maintaining an understanding of the best practices and partnering with leadership on solutions
• Coach and support fellow Chuzers on operational best practices, policies, and training standards
• Help keep the club running smoothly by supporting daily operations, opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and administrative responsibilities
• Support a seamless member experience by upholding Kids Club standards, assisting with Kids Club as needed, fostering collaboration, and establishing clear communication across teams

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in customer service
• Previous experience running shifts or leading a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed

Physical Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
