Job summary

Ground Guys of Concord, a Neighborly company, seeks an Advanced Landscape Technician to lead a crew of landscapers and ensure top-quality results on every project. You’ll manage routing, scheduling, and quality control while mentoring team members and maintaining equipment.

A strong work ethic, excellent communication, and attention to detail are essential for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior landscaping or lawn service experience with management level responsibilities.
• Clean driving history with experience operating a trailer.
• Current, valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to the main office daily.
• Citizen of the United States or able to provide work authorization in the United States.
• Must be 20+ years of age and have professional landscaping experience with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be the boots on the ground, monitor quality control on job sites, and ensure equipment and vehicles are maintained.
• Keep the team organized and on task, supporting crew members and keeping leads informed of on-site status.
• Find solutions to issues that arise and ensure the team stays on schedule without sacrificing quality.
• Wrap up jobs and prepare for the next day to maintain smooth operations.

Your Responsibilities as an Advanced Landscape Technician (including but not limited to)

• You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be walking job sites, checking for quality control, and making sure equipment and vehicles are maintained.
• The team is a unit and works together to keep things organized. You’ll keep yourself and your fellow crew members organized and responsibly on task.
• The team looks to you for support. You find solutions for issues that come up. And you make sure that team leads are aware of what's happening on the properties.
• You will help to keep the team on schedule while not sacrificing quality and ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

Benefits & Pay

The beginning pay range for this position is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour and is dependent on your experience and performance as a lawn care or landscaping management professional. Pay is weekly and raise considerations begin at 30 days of employment with consistently satisfactory work.

• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all the above possible.
• Demonstration of Integrity: We highly value individuals who are consistently dependable and honest. We expect our team leads to hold themselves to high standards both personally and professionally.

Job Requirements for Advanced Landscape Technician

• Prior experience in the landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries will be critical in order to be a productive part of our team. We aren't talking about having mowed your uncle's yard once or twice. We are looking for an individual who KNOWS the industry, has management level experience, can operate the equipment appropriately and safely, and is dedicated to detail.
• Clean driving history with experience driving a trailer
• Current, valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to the main office daily
• Citizen of the United States OR can immediately provide paperwork of legal eligible to work within the United States
• At this time, we are specifically looking for highly responsible individual's 20+ years of age with prior PROFESSIONAL landscaping experience and extreme attention to detail.
