Your Specific Responsibilities as a Landscaping Team Lead

• Leads a team performing landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, and pruning.
• Walks job sites, checks for quality control, and ensures equipment is maintained.
• Addresses clients’ questions with respect or refers clients to the owner as appropriate.
• Structures routes, manages employee schedules, and keeps crew organized and on task.
• Ensures everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

Job Requirements for Landscaping Team Lead

• Two years’ experience in lawn care & landscaping or a related field.
• Two years’ experience leading a small team or leadership roles (preferred).
• Willingness to complete training to obtain all required certifications and licenses within 6 months, if required.
• Clean driving history with experience driving a trailer.
• Working cell phone for daily contact and product reporting.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and meet all other physical requirements of the position.

Benefits & Pay

• Pay range: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, dependent on experience as a lawn care or landscaping professional and as a team leader.
• Monday-Thursday work schedule most weeks.
