Job summary

Wendy's in Orono, ME is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join a fast-paced, friendly crew. You will set up stations, prepare menu items with the kitchen team, and ensure safety and food quality.

On-the-job training is provided, with weekly pay and flexible schedules. You’ll grow skills, earn recognition, and contribute to a welcoming team that values service and freshness.

Qualifications

• Operational knowledge of hospitality equipment.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Exceptional understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, procedures.
• Familiar with industry’s best practices.

Responsibilities

• Sets up stations with all necessary supplies.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Prepares menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Always follows supervisors’ direction and proper cooking techniques.
• Ensures food quality and timeliness.
• Practices correct food handling and storage procedures according to company and state regulations.
• Maintains a positive and respectful approach with everyone.
• Reports all unsafe working conditions, operational needs, and equipment or aspects of the kitchen in need of repair to management.
• Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
