Job summary

Popeyes participates in a team-oriented kitchen environment in Little Elm, TX, seeking a Cook - Team Member to deliver hot, fresh, and flavorful meals in a clean, safe setting.

You’ll prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards, follow recipes, manage portions, and maintain sanitary workstations. This role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and friendly guest service in a fast-paced QSR. Experience with high-volume service and teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Availability for evenings, holidays, weekends
• Familiarity with POS system; ServSafe preferred
• Strong teamwork and conflict resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must be 18 years or older

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Cook - Team Member at Popeyes, you play a critical role in delivering the brand promise of hot, fresh, and flavorful food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. You are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes® standards, following established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. You will operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, and support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, currently preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
• Must be 18 years or older.
