Job summary

Popeyes in Plano is seeking a Cook - Team Member to deliver hot, fresh meals and uphold Popeyes standards. You’ll work in a clean, safe kitchen and help ensure fast, reliable service for guests.

The role requires 18+ years old, at least 6 months in a QSR, and a high school diploma or GED. POS familiarity and ServSafe certification are a plus, with on-site training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant.
• Must be 18 years or older.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Cook - Team Member at Popeyes, you play a critical role in delivering the brand promise of hot, fresh, and flavorful food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. You are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes® standards, following established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. You will operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, and support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
