Now Hiring: Team Member & Caterer

Location

Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops - Riverwalk, NJ

Get paid to scoop joy -- and maybe take the party on the road. We're hiring for two roles that often go hand in hand: Shop Team Members who keep our scoop shops running at their best, and Caterers who bring the Ben & Jerry's experience to events, parties, and off-site locations. Some of our team members do both. Some focus on one. Either way, you'll be part of a crew that takes pride in what they do and has fun doing it.

Who We're Looking For

We want friendly, dependable, energetic people who love working with others and take real pride in delivering a great experience -- whether that's behind the counter or at a catering event across town. You don't need ice cream experience. You do need a positive attitude, the ability to hustle during a rush, and a genuine interest in making people's day a little sweeter.

The Two Roles

Shop Team Member

You're the face of the shop. You scoop, serve, and make every guest feel welcome from the moment they walk in. On a busy Friday night, you'll be moving fast, working as a team, and keeping the energy high. On a slower Tuesday morning, you'll be restocking, cleaning, and making sure everything is ready for the next rush.

Day-to-day:

• Scoop and serve Ben & Jerry's ice cream, shakes, milkshakes, and specialty treats
• Deliver fast, friendly, and memorable customer service every shift
• Operate the POS system and handle cash accurately
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and organized to brand standards
• Follow all food safety and company policies
• Show up ready to work -- on time, every time

Pay: $18-$22/hr (including tips)

Caterer

You're taking Ben & Jerry's on the road. Caterers prep, load, and run off-site events -- bringing our setup, our product, and our service to birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, and more. This role requires a bit more independence and responsibility, and comes with higher pay to match.

Day-to-day:

• Prepare and load the catering vehicle with product, equipment, and supplies
• Represent Ben & Jerry's at off-site events with professionalism and great energy
• Serve guests, manage the event setup, and handle any on-site needs
• Keep the catering vehicle and commissary clean, stocked, and organized
• Manage inventory and equipment before and after every event
• Adhere to all company policies and food safety standards

Additional Requirements For Caterers:

• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Clean driving record (no vehicular infractions in the last 18 months)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
