Job summary

Dash In is hiring Team Members for a Back of House kitchen role at our Claymont, DE location. You’ll prepare meals to high standards, follow safety guidelines, and assist guests with a friendly experience. This part-time position includes nights, weekends, and holidays with an overnight differential of $1.

You should have a HS diploma or GED, 1 year in food service, and be able to pass background and drug screens. POS familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or ability to complete company-paid program.
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience, line or prep cook preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years or older.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality standards in all prep and cooking.
• Monitor prep levels and freshness to ensure ready-to-serve dishes.
• Keep prep station organized, stocked and clean for smooth operation.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and store items appropriately.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and help uphold guest experience.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently as trained.

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $18.00 (+$1 for overnight)

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience
• Customer service experience
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
