Team Manager – Hamden, CT

Panera Bread™ invites you to join our team as a Team Manager. This role involves leading staff, ensuring high quality service, and maintaining food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest enjoys high quality food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships leading to loyal guests.
• Lead, manage, and develop team members through coaching and motivation to meet goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience.
• Participate in interviewing and selection process.
• Train the team on food safety standards and ensure compliance.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts while motivating and developing staff in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.

Compensation

$20 – $24.50 per hour (dependent on experience and location). Eligible for quarterly bonuses.
