Job summary

Panera Bread in Livermore, CA is hiring a Team Manager Lead to guide frontline teams and ensure guests enjoy exceptional food and service. You will recruit, train, and develop staff, coach performance, and contribute to daily operations, safety, and a warm, welcoming culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead shifts and coach a fast-paced team.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long‑term, loyal guests.
• Lead, manage and develop team members by coaching, inspiring and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy and guest experience, celebrating their achievements along the way.
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth and trust.

• Proven ability to lead shifts, direct, motivate, coach and develop others in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Must communicate clearly and understand directions in a loud environment.
