Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with transportation/structures focus; Master’s degree is a plus.
• State of West Virginia Professional Engineering license
• 10+ years of project experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection and load rating
• Knowledge of WVDOH and PENNDOT bridge design standards, manuals and procedures.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, AISC, PCI, ACI and other related design codes
• Working knowledge of OpenBridge/OpenRoads, Microstation, AutoCAD Civil 3D; Microsoft Office Suite
• Client-focused leader with budgeting, communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to travel to job sites and other offices, may include overnight stays
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and work authorization in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation/structures emphasis (Master’s degree a plus+)
• State of West Virginia Professional Engineering license
• 10+ years of project experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection and load rating
• Knowledge of WVDOH and PENNDOT bridge design standards, manuals and procedures.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, AISC, PCI, ACI and other related design codes
• Working knowledge of Open Bridge / Open Roads, Microstation, AutoCAD Civil 3D; Microsoft Office Suite and various structural software programs
• Client-focused leader and team player with strong budgeting, communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
