Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is recruiting a Team Leader to cover two supported living services: New Road in Peterborough and Regal Drive in Kettering. You will lead day-to-day staff, maintain high standards of care and quality, and help people we support live as independently as possible.

The role combines hands-on leadership with line management, audits, and liaison with professionals. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in supported living with adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
• Confidence leading staff, giving direction, and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Organised and proactive approach to quality, compliance, and documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across two services.
• Genuine commitment to person-centred support and enabling independence.
• Own a car and a full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Rota management and supporting effective staffing arrangements.
• Staff supervision and day-to-day guidance, including wellbeing and performance support.
• Completing and supporting audits, compliance checks and service monitoring.
• Supporting with social care reviews and liaising with professionals as needed.
• Completing and reviewing support plans and ensuring they remain person-centred and up to date.
• Supporting staff to deliver high-quality, consistent support aligned with policy and best practice.
• Promoting a positive culture within the teams and leading by example on shift.
• On call cover.
