This role is designed to inspire our Team Members and customers to discover the pleasure of food. The Prepared Foods Team Leader manages the Prepared Foods Team at both locations, ensuring smooth operation. You will be the point of guidance for Team Members and guests on creating great meals and learning about new products. Leaders are responsible for the department's operating performance at all times. Represent the organization professionally, promote mutual respect, inclusion, diversity, and dignity. Regularly coach Team Members with timely feedback, identify development opportunities, and coach for success.

Job Description

• Experience Required: Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation
• Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; success as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or similar role; relevant product knowledge; good performance and discipline record
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Key duties include interviewing, selecting, and training Team Members; directing their work; appraising productivity; handling issues; disciplining; planning and distributing work; ensuring safety; managing budget and inventory; and monitoring compliance.
• Oversee and evaluate training to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
• Provide motivational leadership, set an example, and foster respect and inclusion.
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, think strategically in scheduling, and develop future leaders.
• Maintain safety as a top priority for Team Members, guests, and products.
• Inspire passion for food and exceptional service.
• Set and achieve sales and profit goals, manage shrink, and suggest improvements.
• Communicate effectively with the team and merchandising, ensuring promotions are well communicated.
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance the business.
• Analyze financial and operational reports to improve sales, profits, shrink, and labor management.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and monitor fluctuations and shrinkage.
