Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Material Sciences required.
• Experience 3-5 years in materials management/inventory.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and good communication skills.

• Interprets shipping laws and prepares export/import certifications and licenses.

Essential Functions

• -Plans, schedules and monitors the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
• -Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and coordinates material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
• -Utilizes Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• -Negotiates lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery.
• -May interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for export/import control certifications and licenses.
