Job summary

Salm Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced supervisor to provide technical direction across packaging, staging, and palletizing areas. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations and strict adherence to safety, food safety, SQF, GMP, and USDA standards.

The role emphasizes leadership of production teams, coordination with maintenance and QA, and driving Lean initiatives while maintaining OSHA-compliant practices. Applicants should have strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ operator experience in USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of QX extrusion system and cook-in-package process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilitator with identifying weekly temporary worker staffing needs based on production schedule.
• Enter new temporary workers in hours tracking database and instruct workers.
• Greet temporary workers and communicate assigned jobs at shift start.
• Facilitate production activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Verify correct equipment setup per Operational Parameters.
