Job summary

Salm Partners is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate shift activities in a USDA-regulated facility. You will lead temporary staff, ensure safe operation, and maintain sanitary and quality standards across packaging and production lines.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and hands-on supervision with experience in a food manufacturing setting. This position emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience leading production teams and coordinating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilitator with identifying temporary staffing needs weekly.
• Greet temporary workers and communicate assignments.
• Ensure safe and efficient production; monitor equipment setup and operation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA and Expediting to resolve issues.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and food safety compliance.
• Communicate major production issues to the Facilitator/Shift Manager.
• Provide input on partner performance and be flexible to cover shifts.
