Job summary

Sterling St James LLC Packaging Supervisor position in our manufacturing facility seeks a results-driven leader to oversee production teams in a food/beverage/pharma setting. You will drive staffing, training, safety, and GMP/SOP compliance while collaborating with maintenance to maximize line efficiency and plant performance.

The role requires lean manufacturing expertise, strong communication, and the ability to coach teams through metrics and corrective actions. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong lean manufacturing background and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of team leadership to production employees.
• Staffing levels and morale through continuous team building.
• Organize training processes to ensure safety, SOPs and GMP compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to keep equipment fully operational.
• Aim for targeted production efficiency and contribute to overall plant performance.
• Solidify open communication with employees and support departments.
• Coach the production team to meet objectives and deliver results.
• Lead regular meetings with Team Leaders and production staff.
