Job summary

The Arc of Anchorage is seeking a Team Leader/Job Developer to create community employment opportunities for individuals receiving Supported Employment Services. You will liaise with The Arc, community vendors and DSDS to coordinate person-centered, sustainable placements.

You will lead and mentor Direct Support Professionals and job coaches, ensuring training, support, and alignment with the organization's mission of professionalism, inclusion, and empowerment, while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• One year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• One year of supervisory or management experience.
• NEC to be completed within one year of employment.
• Background checks and valid driver’s license required.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Job Development & Employer Relations – identify and develop community-based employment opportunities and maintain relationships with local employers.
• Individual & Service Coordination – collaborate with individuals, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to create person-centered employment plans and provide referrals.
• Program Quality & Compliance – monitor service quality, ensure Medicaid/DSDS and agency requirements, and maintain documentation.
• Leadership & Staff Oversight – provide guidance, training, and oversight to Direct Support Professionals and job coaches to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Mission & Values Alignment – uphold reporting requirements and model professionalism, inclusion, and empowerment.
