Job summary

The Arc of Madison County, Inc is seeking an Onsite Support Personnel to provide training and supervision for individuals served within work sites and competitive employment settings. You will collaborate with staff, families, and employers to implement individualized coaching plans and ensure successful job placements.

The role requires flexibility in schedule, travel to various worksites, and commitment to best practices in supported employment.

Qualifications

• Degree in related field preferred, but not required.
• GED or High School diploma required.
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Computer skills, including word processing, excel and database.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized support, training, and supervision for individuals served at the worksite or competitive job.
• Communicates effectively with supervisor, other job coaches, Direct Support Professionals, employers, families as needed.
• Perform job analysis, task analysis, and situational assessments when required.
• Carries out steps of job coaching and skill training plan with individuals served and other parties.
• Travel to worksites and access varying workspace as necessary.
