Your upbeat attitude and ability to engage customers keep the sales floor energized and motivate Sales Associates. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Leader, Design & Trade, you will lead your team to meet and exceed sales goals. You will monitor the sales floor, adjust staffing to ensure personalized customer attention, and serve as a mentor by coaching and developing your team to perform at their best and advance their careers.

A day in the life as a Team Leader, Customer Experience & Outreach...

  • Lead your designated functional team and manage associate workload in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
  • Coach associates on performance and maintain a strong, visible presence in your department.
  • Partner with the Assistant Store Leader to train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling skills, customer service, operations, visual standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay informed about new store initiatives and communicate changes to your team to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Promote and drive sales by maintaining current product knowledge, both in-store and out.
  • Review KPI results with the Assistant Store Leader to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Regularly communicate with the Assistant Store Leader about business results, plan execution, customer feedback, and team performance.
  • Ensure all customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service by setting expectations and modeling behaviors.

What you'll bring to the table...

  • A personal style with a discerning eye and a passion for design and home furnishings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

  • At least 1 year of customer service or retail experience.
  • Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Part-Time roles: Availability to work at least two weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and one weekday or evening.

Minimum Starting Rate: $21.85 hourly
Up to: $27.31 hourly
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, you may be eligible for bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on your role.
