Location: Washington, PA

Overall Function

Assists the Program Supervisor with the daily activities of Crisis Intervention Services, program operations, and supervision of staff.

Essential Functions
  1. Assists with the implementation of short and long-term program goals, ensuring compliance with all government rules, regulations, and agency policies and procedures.
  2. Assists in the preparation of the annual program budget, monitors monthly expenditures, and identifies new funding opportunities.
  3. Participates in staff training through individual conferences or staff meetings, monitoring performance to ensure quality service delivery.
  4. Assists the program supervisor with interviewing, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff.
  5. Prepares and submits all required correspondence, records, reports, and documentation accurately and timely.
  6. Promotes community awareness of program activities.
  7. Initiates intra- and interagency contact to facilitate client care.
  8. Provides direct services, including interviewing clients, facilitating client groups, and being on call for the CARE Management Team.
  9. Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations, and ethical standards, including confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws and agency policies.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related social services field with progressive experience in human services, or a Bachelor's Degree with three (3) years of experience in human services.
  • Ability to gather vital information during interviews to make proper recommendations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, providers, and social service agencies.
  • Must obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal health programs.
