Job summary

Gills Point S is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead daily operations in our busy tire and automotive service center. You will partner with the Store Manager to manage sales, service, scheduling, and inventory while developing the team and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

The role emphasizes coaching, employee development, and maintaining high standards of service, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

3+ years automotive, tire, or retail service experience
2+ years supervisory/management experience
Experience in fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Proficient with computers, POS systems, and business applications
Ability to build lasting customer relationships and deliver exceptional service
Knowledge of labor management, productivity metrics, and cost control
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work while maintaining quality

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations of a busy tire and automotive service center
Build strong relationships with customers, team members, and vendors
Drive sales growth through outstanding customer service and operational excellence
Assist with employee scheduling, payroll administration, and workflow management
Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control processes
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize performance
Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed
Analyze productivity, labor, sales, and operational metrics to support business objectives
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on growth and accountability
