Primary Skills and Responsibilities: (Others may be assigned)

• Communicates with the team on priorities given by the Production Supervisor
• Directs the work to be performed by the group
• Assists assigned personnel in resolving on-the-job technical issues
• Functions as the liaison with other departments
• Ensures necessary parts and/or tooling are provided for efficient task completion
• Responsible for making sure team members have enough work to keep them busy efficiently
• Processes and tracks completion of training documents
• Works with the team to reduce waste (time spent on non-value-added activities)
• Responsible for quality output for the team
• Provides input to the manager for performance reviews
• Ensures compliance with all work and safety rules
• Refers problems with employees, other teams, and departments to the manager
• Motivates the team to achieve organizational goals
• Understands team metrics and how to communicate them effectively
• Conducts all team training and maintains associated paperwork for HR updates
• Performs Layered Process Audits as required
• Ability to perform all related tasks of a Machine Operator II
• Minimum of 5 hours dedicated to machine operation
• Maintains organization on the shop floor
• Manages the completion of inspection sheets, process tags, and finished goods tags

Experience Requirements
