We’re currently seeking a Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join our team.

Role

The Production Supervisor ensures manufacturing safety, efficiency, and quality by monitoring employees and organizing workflows to meet schedules. The role requires competence in managing complex, dynamic operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Production Manager and coordinate with 1st Shift Supervisors and Planning teams.
• Supervise and allocate 2nd shift personnel to meet production schedules.
• Proactively seek operational improvements.
• Communicate objectives and expectations clearly to staff.
• Organize workflows, oversee daily operations, and ensure safety.
• Coach and develop employees through feedback and performance reviews.
• Encourage cross-training and accountability.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper equipment use.
• Monitor production output and implement recovery plans as needed.
• Prepare and submit shift reports.
• Identify efficiency, productivity, or waste issues and address them.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and track KPIs such as safety, efficiency, and scrap rates.

Work Location and Schedule

This is a full-time position at our Turners Falls, MA facility with the following schedule:

• 8-hour shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• Limited overtime and infrequent Saturday work

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Positive and professional communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and timekeeping programs
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Must be U.S. Persons as per export regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Further education in engineering or technical fields
• 10+ years supervisory experience
• 3+ years Lean Manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, CNC machines, powder coating, and reading blueprints
• Strong communication and data analysis skills
• Project management ability
