The Maintenance Technician Team Leader serves as a key leader for the 2nd Shift maintenance team, driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement within the department. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with frontline leadership responsibilities, requiring the ability to perform and support all maintenance functions while coordinating daily team operations.
The Team Leader is responsible for prioritizing work, coordinating schedules, monitoring workflow, supporting inventory and materials management, and helping team members succeed in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong decision‑making skills, effective communication, and the ability to solve practical problems while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
