Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Jurupa Valley, CA is seeking a Store Team Leader to support store leadership, deliver Legendary Service, coach Team Members, and own assigned sales-floor presentation areas.

You will be expected to be among the top sellers in the store, actively coach teammates, and ensure Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, and clothing recovery are maintained. This role may involve BOPIS/OMNI tasks and shift leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail setting and coaching performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned Team Members during shifts and delegate tasks.
• Maintain Power Panel, Clipstrip, Endcap, and clothing recovery areas.
• Support BOPIS/OMNI execution and customer handoffs as needed.
• Operate cash register and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Obtain required licenses or certifications if needed.

The Team Leader is responsible for supporting Store leadership, delivering Legendary Service, coaching Team Members, and owning assigned sales-floor presentation areas. Team Leaders are expected to be top selling Team Members and have clear ownership of Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, Clothing recovery, and assigned BOPIS/OMNI support based on store needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

It is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Use A+ Coaching to celebrate and develop Team Members, improve selling behaviors, and reinforce consistent operating standards.
• Deliver Legendary Service and model selling behaviors as one of the top selling Team Members in the store.
• Own Power Panel execution, maintenance, replenishment, signing, and recovery.
• Own Clipstrip execution, maintenance, replenishment, signing, and recovery.
• Own Endcap execution, maintenance, signing, and recovery.
• Own full weekly Clothing Department recovery, including assigned standards and follow-up.
• Support BOPIS/OMNI execution, including picking, staging, Customer handoff, and follow-up as assigned.
• Lead assigned Team Members during shifts, including task delegation, follow-up, service expectations, and safe work practices.
• Support front-end, sales-floor, recovery, and Customer engagement routines as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Manager.
• Support Store readiness by owning and maintaining Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, and Clothing.
• Operate cash register/computer, forklift, and other equipment as needed; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Complete all documentation associated with the above job duties accurately and timely.
• Obtain license or certifications as needed by the business.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
