Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Team Leader who embodies our culture and serves guests with a servant’s heart. You will support senior leadership in daily operations and coach team members to uphold Operational Excellence and our Service standards.

You will lead by example, open/close shifts, count drawers, and ensure smooth restaurant performance, while fostering strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet guests with a friendly demeanor and maintain eye contact.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Commitment to delivering superior customer service and helping guests.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Provide immediate and respectful response to guest needs.
• Assist in training new hires and model leadership for the team.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team member and shift leader.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, and serve as a key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day procedures.
• Maintain excellent communication with the team.

They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities
