A leading restaurant company in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a Team Leader to oversee daily operations and support team development. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include training new hires, managing shifts, and enhancing team efficiency. This team-oriented role offers both full-time and part-time positions with a focus on professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues.
• Prior experience in a leadership role is preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to superior customer service.
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members and provide superior customer service.
• Experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, or restaurant manager is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day activities in a high-volume restaurant.
• Assist in training new hires and setting the tone for a shift.
• Lead shifts, manage key holder responsibilities, and finalize day.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, be a key holder, count drawers and finalize day.
• Maintain excellent communication, both written and spoken.

A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities
