Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a warehouse/logistics supervisor at Methodist Hospital. The role oversees daily team functions from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring timely picking, delivery, and receiving activities within our inventory operations.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 5–7 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with PCs and ERP systems. Ability to operate material handling equipment and lift heavy items is expected.

• Ability to use a personal computer, Microsoft applications, and ERP system.

• Effectively utilizes WMS and ERP to document all receiving and purchasing activity including Requisitions, POs (Stock and Nonstock), and Non-PO items.
• Ensures daily picking, delivery and receiving priorities are followed.
• Stages products to be put away or delivered to the customer.
• Troubleshoots and conducts service recovery when processes are delayed.
• Assists with Quality and Inventory Control assignments and recall procedures.
• Willing to cover all job assignments of the assigned team.

• Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment. May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30-days of hire.
• Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
• Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.
