Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Team Lead to guide in-district classrooms and standalone schools for K-12 students needing behavioral and social-emotional supports. You will support individualized education plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive student growth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience with behavioral challenges, offering growth across SESI’s national network, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning (Required).
• Extensive experience with students with behavioral challenges is strongly preferred.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are educated in accordance with their IEPs.
• Observation of classrooms regularly and provide staff feedback.
• Weekly staff meetings to impart information, suggestions, and issues of concern.
• Attend and participate in a monthly Goal Review with Supervisor; show growth and goal completion.
• Involve parents in the educational program and provide regular parent education events.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being policies compliance with state licensing.
• Perform staff Supervisions including Goal Reviews monthly and growth opportunities.
• Identify staff and program needs and obtain professional development.
• Communicate with parents, supervisors, and district personnel in person or via newsletters.
