Job summary

C-Serv seeks an experienced SRE/DevOps professional to own night and weekend shift coverage for a FedRAMP Moderate-authorised cloud platform. You will lead incident response on high-severity outages, triage across AWS GovCloud and EKS, and drive immediate remediation while ensuring proper handovers.

You will mentor junior engineers, enforce security and access controls, and maintain platform availability during critical hours while earning recognition for leadership and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure with incident command experience.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes/EKS and AWS/GovCloud experience is a strong plus.
• Comfortable being senior voice on a bridge; Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD are second nature.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP/NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• US citizenship and US-soil residency with overnight/weekend shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• The floor during your shift; two engineers on glass, you are the senior voice.
• Triage and technical direction across multi-cluster AWS/GovCloud and Amazon EKS.
• FedRAMP compliance in the moment: CVE remediation SLAs, DISA STIG hardening, access control.
• The handover: ensure the next team knows current status at shift end.
• Mentoring the SRE IIs on shift to set incident handling standards.

24/7 FedRAMP Cloud Platform Overnight & Weekend Coverage Contract

KEY REQUIREMENT

This role requires US citizenship and residence on US soil. It sits within a FedRAMP Moderate-authorised environment, so FedRAMP suitability and US-soil-only eligibility are non-negotiable, not preferred.

Own the night. Lead the response. Keep a FedRAMP platform running when it matters most.

Our client runs a FedRAMP Moderate-authorised distributed cloud platform that can’t go dark, not overnight, not on a holiday weekend, not ever. They need someone who can stand on the glass, call the shots when something breaks at 2am, and own the outcome. That’s this role.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
