Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Team Lead, Security for our Fairless Hills, PA facility. This onsite, full‑time role supports daily activities, enforces site procedures, and guides Security Officers during shifts.

Training is 10:00 AM–6:00 PM for about six months before transitioning to the 2nd Shift. Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED and prior security/lead experience; Monday–Friday schedule with 2nd shift after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous security experience strongly preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, observation, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to provide direction and work effectively with a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation.
• Ability to work the required 10:00 AM–6:00 PM training schedule for approximately six months.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate daily Security Officer activities.
• Help ensure established security procedures and site requirements are consistently followed.
• Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct facility patrols and routine security checks.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, X‑ray equipment, and other security equipment.
• Assist with visitor check‑in, screening, and escorts.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and security‑related concerns.
• Provide guidance and support to Security Officers during the shift.
• Assist with incident reports and required security documentation.
• Communicate effectively with Security leadership and other departments.
• Help maintain a professional, safe, and secure work environment.

Sibanye-Stillwater is looking for a dependable and experienced Team Lead, Security to join our Security Operations team at our Fairless Hills facility.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for someone who can help guide the day‑to‑day activities of the security team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, security, professionalism, and consistent application of site procedures.

Important Schedule & Training Requirement

This position is designated for 2nd Shift at $23.50 per hour. The selected candidate must be available to complete approximately six months of training on the 10:00 AM–6:00 PM shift before transitioning to the assigned 2nd Shift schedule.

What You’ll Do

Position Requirements

This is an active onsite security position. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, conduct searches of persons and packages, and perform the physical requirements associated with the position.

Employment is subject to applicable ITAR and NAID requirements and successful completion of required pre‑employment screening, which may include a background and credit check, drug screening, and physical examination.
