Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is hiring a Security Officer for our Greenville, NC facility. We’re looking for a reliable, observant individual who takes safety seriously and is comfortable working in an active industrial environment.

Join an onsite team and help control access, patrol the facility, monitor surveillance, and respond to incidents on a Monday–Friday schedule with a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift. Starting rate is $19.00 per hour with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Prior security experience is a plus.
• Military or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility and verify employees and visitors.

• Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.

• Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X-ray equipment.

a Few Position Requirements

This is an active onsite security position. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, conduct searches of persons and packages, and lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.

Employment is also subject to applicable ITAR and NAID requirements and successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including a background and credit check, drug screening, and physical examination.
