Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Security Officer for the 2nd shift at our Fairless Hills facility. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with no rotating shifts, and pays $21.50 per hour.

You will control access, patrol, monitor cameras, screen individuals, operate security equipment, and respond to incidents while maintaining safety and professionalism in an active industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Prior security experience is a plus.
• Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Patrol the facility and perform routine security checks.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Screen individuals and packages with security equipment.
• Operate metal detectors and handheld scanners.
• Assist with visitor check-in and escorts.
• Respond to alarms and security incidents.
• Document incidents with reports.
