Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Team Lead, Security for its Fairless Hills, PA facility to guide day‑to‑day security operations on site.

This hands‑on leadership role requires coordinating Security Officers, enforcing site procedures, and ensuring safety, security, and professionalism across the team.

Training runs 10:00 AM–6:00 PM for about six months before transitioning to the 2nd shift; schedule is Monday–Friday, onsite at Fairless Hills, PA.

Qualifications

• > High School Diploma or GED required.
• < Previous security experience strongly preferred.
• < Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• < Strong communication, observation, and decision‑making skills.
• < Ability to provide direction and work effectively with a team.
• < Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation.
• < Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in an active industrial environment.
• < Ability to work the required 10:00 AM–6:00 PM training schedule for approximately six months.

Responsibilities

• > Coordinate daily Security Officer activities.
• < Ensure established security procedures and site requirements are followed.
• < Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• < Conduct facility patrols and routine security checks.
• < Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• < Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, X‑ray equipment, and other security equipment.
• < Assist with visitor check‑in, screening, and escorts.
• < Respond to alarms, incidents, and security‑related concerns.
• < Provide guidance and support to Security Officers during the shift.
• < Assist with incident reports and required security documentation.
• < Communicate effectively with Security leadership and other departments.
• < Help maintain a professional, safe, and secure work environment.
