Job summary

Carfair in Alabama is seeking a Team Leader to support the production supervisor and guide a assigned team to meet safety, quality, and production targets. You will liaise between supervisors and line employees to ensure smooth operation and adherence to procedures.

The role requires prior supervisory experience, the ability to work overtime, and strong familiarity with blueprints. You will contribute to a safe, cost-effective, on-time manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned personnel to ensure that all employees are working safely, efficiently and diligently to meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Leads and instructs employees to perform the required job tasks within the department.
• Maintains competency to perform all tasks associated with the area of responsibility.
• Works independently with minimal direction using good judgement and initiative.
• Fills in for any department staffing shortages due to vacancies or production demand.
• Support company standards for safety, including housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned

Team leaders work with their assigned team members to ensure that all parts and processes are completed to meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations in a safe, cost effective and timely manner. Will act as a liaison between the supervisor and employees.
