Job summary

Carfair Composites is seeking a Production Team Leader to assist the production supervisor in day-to-day duties. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting production schedules while coordinating with the supervisor and team members to ensure timely, cost-effective results.

Job description

This position assists the production supervisor with all duties as assigned. The team leader ensures that all employees work within established regulations, policies and procedures with regards to health & safety, environmental, quality and production requirements. Team leaders work with their assigned team members to ensure that all parts and processes are completed to meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations in a safe, cost effective and timely manner. Will act as a liaison between the supervisor and employees.

Requirements What You Will Do:

• Leads assigned personnel to ensure that all employees are working safely, efficiently and diligently to meet quality standards and production schedules
• Leads and instructs employees to perform the required job tasks within the department
• Maintains competency to perform all tasks associated with the area of responsibility
• Works independently with minimal direction using good judgement and initiative
• Fills in for any department staffing shortages due to vacancies or production demand
• Support company standards for safety, including housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned
