Job summary

Petsense in Fort Oglethorpe, GA is seeking a Store Team Member to assist with daily operations, merchandising, and outstanding customer service, including care for live animals. You will help manage store conditions, support selling initiatives, and ensure safety and accuracy in cash handling.

The role requires flexibility in shifts, a focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to train new Team Members. Prior retail and pet knowledge is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and ASM with execution of operational, sales and merchandising objectives.
• Promote a safe, productive work environment and train Team Members on policies and procedures.
• Execute merchandising activities, price changes, plan-o-grams, and stock organization.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Operate cash register and manage cash handling procedures.
