Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; reading, writing, and counting are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist store management with operational, sales, and merchandising objectives.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment for team members, customers, and vendors.
• Train team members on policies and procedures.
• Perform merchandising, opening/closing, and price change activities.
• Handle cash, deposits, and POS transactions; reconcile cash drawers daily.
• Oversee live animals care and safety; sanitation of holding tanks.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive experience.
• Assist in training new team members.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
