Phlebotomist/Registration: Working in a single assigned work area, provides specimen collection, registration, and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and mental health and skilled nursing facilities at off-site locations and clinics. High volume work, 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet. Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.
Main Hospital Inpatient Phlebotomist
Servicing inpatients at the main hospital, processing and registration of samples received from physician offices for testing.
Outpatient Health Park Phlebotomist
May be located at any outpatient draw stations around Grand Rapids; required to float to any health park when needed.
Mobile Phlebotomist
Travels daily between multiple nursing homes, corporate entities, and residential facilities.
