Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia is seeking a Team Lead to guide a dedicated team at a Newborn, GA site. You will oversee daily operations, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure a positive, productive work environment while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, reporting to management, coordinating transportation and activities for residents, documenting progress, and ensuring adherence to care plans and policies.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and CPR/FA.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate team to achieve performance goals.
• Establish clear objectives and deadlines for the team and individuals.
• Identify and resolve issues within the team or with projects.
• Report on team performance to higher management.
• Cultivate positive relationships with guardians and the community.
• Track team and individual performance and provide feedback.
• Provide transportation and supervision for residents as required.
• Manage resources allocated to the team, such as budget or personnel.
• Build positive relationships and foster collaboration within the team.
• Perform safety inspections for vans and ensure training is followed.
• Perform housekeeping duties (kitchen, bathrooms, windows, bedrooms, floors).
• Prepare meals per Individual Healthcare plans and ensure safe handling of food.
• Provide personal care support (ADLs).
• Document using Therap system and other electronic systems.
• Ensure goals align with each individual ISP and conduct evacuation drills.
• Assist in planning person-centered outings and track health-related information.
• Follow laws, policies and complete required training via Relias.
