Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia is seeking a Team Lead to guide a site-specific home operation, supervise staff, and support residents with daily activities. You will coordinate transportation, ensure safety protocols, and participate in care planning and reporting.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, managing schedules, liaising with guardians, and upholding policies and regulatory requirements while leveraging strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities or related field preferred but not required.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, CPR/FA.
  • Mindset (Utilizing a different intervention methodology)

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate their team members to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
  • Establish clear objectives and deadlines for the team and individual members.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise within the team or with projects.
  • Report on team performance and progress to higher management.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with guardians and the greater community.
  • Track team and individual performance, providing feedback and support to improve outcomes.
  • Provide transportation and supervision for individuals as required to meet employment, recreational and leisure activities.
  • Manage resources allocated to the team, such as budget, tools, or personnel.
