ERBACHER the food family in Germany is seeking a Team Lead Data Analytics & BI to lead a cross-functional data team and drive the execution of our data strategy. You will guide a team of analysts, a data scientist, and external developers, partnering with stakeholders to embed data-driven decision making across the business.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Data Analytics, BI or Data Engineering at a mid-to-senior level.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing people.
• Experience in international or mid-sized company structures.
• Familiarity with Data Catalogs, Data Ownership and Data Mesh concepts.
• Strong SQL skills with data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks as data warehouse/lakehouse.
• Experience with Fivetran and dbt for data integration and transformation.
• Experience with Power BI including data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Disciplinary and functional leadership of a data team.
• Data Strategy: Lead ongoing development and execution of the data strategy to a multi-year plan.
• Translate business priorities into analytics use cases and data-driven foundations.
• Advance analytics from descriptive to predictive and forward-looking.
• Data Platform: Expand and maintain the data platform with Databricks as central warehouse.
• Reporting & BI: Develop Power BI reporting landscape, data models, KPI standardization.
• Data Integration: Connect internal and external data sources including SAP data (S/4HANA etc.).
• Data Culture: Promote data-driven culture, Data Catalog and Data Mesh.
• Future Topics: Prepare platform for real-time data, ML, AI analytics and self-service BI.
