About The Job
This role is responsible for building and scaling RADAR’s pilot technical infrastructure, ensuring that our systems can be deployed consistently and efficiently across new retail customers. The Team Lead, Customer Solutions will define and standardize enablement processes, oversee technical readiness, and act as the bridge between engineering and field operations. You will be deeply involved in translating pilot goals into executable technical plans while ensuring feedback from the field is captured and integrated into future deployments. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings a systems-thinking approach, and is comfortable influencing across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In Your First 30 Days, You Will
- Review and digest information about RADAR's technology architecture and deployment processes
- Meet with technical teams to understand system components and integration points
- Visit pilot locations to understand technical deployment requirements
- Learn about current pilot enablement tools and processes
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams involved in implementations
- Review previous pilot deployments to identify technical challenges and bottlenecks
- Begin to understand customer technical environments and requirements
In Your First 60 Days, You Will
- Begin developing improved technical enablement tools and processes
- Start creating standardized technical documentation for pilot deployments
- Collaborate with Engineering to streamline system configuration processes
- Begin leading technical readiness planning for upcoming pilot customers
- Start supporting troubleshooting for complex technical issues
- Begin identifying patterns in technical challenges across pilots
- Start developing training for technical aspects of implementation
- Participate in pilot planning and technical scoping activities
In Your First 90 Days, You Will
- Fully own the technical enablement strategy for pilot deployments
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve technical implementation processes
- Create comprehensive technical playbooks for different deployment scenarios
- Develop technical readiness assessment methodologies for new customers
- Begin measuring and optimizing pilot deployment efficiency
- Provide regular insights to Product and Engineering on technical implementation needs
- Lead technical knowledge sharing and training for implementation teams
- Contribute to product roadmap planning with implementation insights
Required
ABOUT YOU
- You have 6+ years experience in solutions engineering, technical implementation, or related field
- You have demonstrated success with retail technology pilot programs
- You have Strong technical knowledge of RFID, computer vision, or related technologies
- You have experience developing implementation methodologies and documentation
- You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- You have the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- You have experience with system integration and configuration management
- You have a strong project management and organizational abilities
- You have knowledge of retail IT environments and infrastructure
- You have the ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
Preferred
- You have experience with agile development and implementation methodologies
- You have a background in process improvement and optimization
- You have knowledge of technical documentation tools and standards
- You have experience with technical training development
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
At RADAR, your pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role is an exempt position with a salary range of $96,000-$181,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan, flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
